Tan Son Nhat International Airport is the busiest airport in Vietnam serving Ho Chi Minh City. This airport is located on the southeastern side of the county, only 8 km from the city centre. Inaugurated in the 1930s, this airport offers both domestic and international flights through airlines like Vietnam Airlines, VASCO, Pacific Airlines, etc.
Established in 1978, Noi Bai International Airport is located at a distance of 28 km away from the city centre. It is the second busiest Vietnam international airport and the sixth busiest in the world. Some of the main airlines operating in this airport are Vietnam Airlines, Vietravel Airlines, Bamboo Airways, etc.
Da Nang International Airport is notified as the third busiest international airport in Vietnam. Located only 3 km from the city centre, this airport is convenient and accessible for most. Inaugurated in the 1940s, this airport has undergone several expansions over the years.
Inaugurated during the Vietnam War in the 1960s, Cam Ranh is the fourth busiest airport in Vietnam. It is 30 km from the city centre, and its runway is about 12 m above sea level. Other than serving as a public airport, it is also a military base with the name, Cam Ranh Air Base.
This international airport covers an area of almost 900 hectares and can accommodate 2.5 million passengers every year. Located about 9 km from the city centre, this airport started operating in 2012.
This airport was inaugurated back in 1933, located 30 km away from Da Lat city centre. Aeroflot Russia had connecting flights with Vietnam, and it is suspected that they might have used this airport for military services between 1981 and 1989.
Located only 3 km from the city centre, this airport serves the Can Tho area. Inaugurated in 1962, it offers a wide range of flights through airlines like Bamboo Airways and Vietnam Airlines. The recent expansion projects contributed to an expansion of the runway so that it can handle about 300,000 passengers annually.
Inaugurated in 1930, this airport is conveniently located about 5 km from the city centre. It currently offers only domestic flights through airlines like Bamboo Airways, VietJet Air, Pacific Airlines, etc. Currently, it is awaiting an expansion of its runway to accommodate jumbo jets like Boeing 767.
