Zvartnots International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Armenia. It is situated 10 kilometres west of Armenia’s capital city, Yerevan. The airport became operational in 1966. The airport offers a wide range of flights through multiple popular airlines like Wizz Air, SCAT Airlines, Qatar Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, etc.

Shirak International Airport is next on the list of airports in Armenia. The airport was built in 1961 and is 5 km away from the city of Gyumri. It uses airlines like Red Wings, Nordwind Airlines and Aeroflot for offering both domestic and international flights. It is the second-busiest airport in Armenia. Its recent developments include a new air traffic control tower.

Erebuni Airport is a military airport serving Yerevan. Although it is mostly used for military activities, the airport also operates private helicopter flights in the region. Located only about 7.3 km away from the city centre, and offers good connectivity to the city. It houses a squadron of MiG-29 and Mi-24 helicopters.

Serving the city of Nor Hachn, Arzni Airport is another airport in Armenia. The military-owned base serves as a training ground and home to Armenak Khanperyants Military Aviation University. Located only 2 km from the Azni city centre, the airport conducts several military exercises and exhibitions.

Also known as Kapan Airport, the airport is about 4 kilometres from Kapan. The General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia owns this airport. However, it is operated by Syunik Airport LLC. This airport reopened again in the year 2022, after it was closed for a long period of time due to some political unrest.
Goris Airport is situated south of Goris near Shinuhayr village in Armenia. It is one of the many airports that were shut down due to the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Stepanavan Airport is another that has been closed for almost two decades. It is a civil airport undergoing reconstruction. The authorities plan to start operations soon.
