This airport known for its stunning natural surroundings is the fifth busiest airport in the country. Tromsø Airport was officially built on 14 September 1964. It is located in Langnes, 5 km northwest of Tromsø city centre.
It is a joint public and military airport located in Stjørdal municipality which is about 19 km east of Trondheim city centre in Norway. This airport was established in 1914 and can handle around 4441870 passengers with 58273 air movements. This makes it the fourth busiest airport in Norway.
The Ålesund Airport is a midsize airport situated on the island of Vigra in Gisk and is 17 km away from Ålesund City. Ålesund Airport was established in the year 1958. It handles more than 1 million passengers every year, offering flights to nearly 20 destinations.
This airport is located outside Haugesund town on the Helganes peninsula of Karmøy and is around 11 km away from Karmøy. The airport was opened on 8 April 1975. The airport was privatized in May 2019. It can handle around 600000 to 700000 per year.
It was constructed in the year 1953 and opened on 2 July 1956. This is one of the low-cost carrier airports in Norway. TORP Sandefjord Airport is located around 110 km southwest of Oslo. The airport was expanded in the 1960s and in 1997 it became a Ryanair destination, which made it as an airport serving Oslo.
