The Dubai World Central Airport is the world's other most important and busiest airport accumulating millions of commuters and tons of freight annually. The new airport structure will be linked to the Dubai International Airport through a high-speed rail system.

3. Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), East of Abu Dhabi City

Known as one of the best airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi Airport is the 2nd largest and busiest airport in the United Arab Emirates, near Abu Dhabi. It is a base of more than 30 airlines from over 100 destinations in over 50 countries. 

Established in 1982, this airport is located 30 kms east of Abu Dhabi city. One of the main projects, the Midfield Terminal Building (MTB), will increase the airport’s overall capacity to 45 million passengers a year. It will open towards the end of 2023.

Located in the southeast region of Sharjah, Sharjah international airport was established in 1985. This airport is located 10 kms away from Sharjah City Centre and 15 kms away from Dubai.

Sharjah Airport comprises an area of 15 300 000 square meters and is the 3rd highest Middle-East air freight centre in cargo tonnage. In addition, this airport can accommodate nearly 10 million passengers throughout the year.
