How to Check e-Challan Status of Your Vehicle in Gujarat?

It is best to regularly check the Gujarat Traffic Police website to see if an e-Challan has been issued for an offence unknown to the offender. You can also check for e-challans issued via different methods, such as the Parivahan Government Portal, the Gujarat Traffic Police website, and the Digit app.

  • Step 2: Then, click on the ‘Check Online Services’ option above and choose ‘Check Challan Status’.

The second alternative is to go to the Gujarat Traffic Police website to check the status of the e-Challan. Here are the steps to do so:

How to Pay Traffic Fines Online in Gujarat?

There are two methods by which you can pay your e-challans online in Gujarat:

  • Parivahan Website or App

  • Gujarat Traffic Police Portal

Using the Parivahan Website

Pay Traffic Fine

  • Step 3: Fill in the box with the Captcha that you see and click on "Get Details".
  • Step 4: From the list of e-challans displayed, choose any to pay.
  • Step 5: You will see the offence details and the pending fine amount.
  • Step 6: Proceed with the payment.
  • Step 7: When the payment is completed, you will get a special message with a unique transaction ID.

An alternative method to pay e-Challan or traffic fines in Gujarat is using the Gujarat Traffic Police web portal. Here are the steps to do so:

  • Step 1: Check out the Gujarat Traffic Police gateway.
  • Step 2: Enter Your Vehicle Number and the captcha given.

Pay Traffic Fine

  • Step 3: Click on the submit button.
  • Step 4: You will then be redirected to a new page that displays the details of the e-challan.
  • Step 5: The traffic challan can be paid using the payment method selected on the page.

If your e-challan payment is successful, you will receive an acknowledgement with the transaction ID as proof of payment.

How to Pay Traffic Fines Offline in Gujarat?

To pay the e-challan issued by Gujarat traffic police offline, you can choose either of these two options:

  • Visit any traffic police office in your city with your driver's licence, address identity card, and offence ticket. Pay your fine in cash and get the receipt.

  • Go to a traffic police officer with a handheld e-challan payment unit. Just swipe your debit/credit card at the payment terminal to make a cash-free payment immediately.
