Ahmedabad has three methods of paying traffic e-challan online: the Parivahan website, the Ahmedabad Traffic Police portal, and the offline method.

Visit the Parivahan website affiliated with the Indian government to pay for your traffic e-challan in Ahmedabad. Here are the steps to do so:

• Step 1: Go to the Parivahan website.
• Step 2: On the left at the top of the page, choose the entry under Online Services.
• Step 3: Click on the ‘Check Challan Status’ item from the menu.

• Step 5: Type the ‘Captcha’ key that is seen on the screen and click on ‘Get Detail’.
• Step 6: After the information is made available, the next step is to check the traffic e-challan status.
• Step 7: Please click the 'Pay Now' button to enter payment details.
• Step 8: Choose one mode of payment and pay the penalty directly.
• Step 9: Once the payment is secured, a text message (SMS) will be sent to the registered mobile number of the depositor.

An alternative method to pay e-Challan or traffic fines in Ahmedabad is using the Ahmedabad Traffic Police web portal:

• Step 1: Go to the Ahmedabad Traffic Police Website's online platform.
• Step 2: Enter the vehicle number and click ‘Go’ to proceed.

Given below are the steps you will have to follow to pay your traffic challan offline:

• If a traffic enforcement officer stops you with an e-challan machine, you can pay your challan immediately. Give your challan number, then pay your challan through these options: cash, UPI, card payment (credit or debit), PayTM, Mobi wallet, etc. You will get the receipt after making a successful payment.

• Similarly, the Ahmedabad traffic police headquarters station can be approached to register your challenge by indicating your name, address, and driving license.

• You can also select any method to pay the total amount, such as a cheque, demand draft, or pay order in the name of the Ahmedabad Traffic Police.
