Mumbai is one of the most populous Indian cities, and as a result, it attracts a lot of traffic during peak hours. Safety and traffic rules become more crucial in such cases. • Step 3: The page redirects to ‘Parivahan Sarathi’. Now, select ‘Driving Licence’ and choose ‘Services On DL’ to renew your driving licence online in Mumbai. You will be redirected to an instruction page. Go through the same and select ‘Continue’.

• Step 4: Enter your driving licence number and date of birth. Other information that you are required to fill in are:

  • Category of the driving licence holder

  • Select state and enter your residential PIN code to select your nearest RTO.

• Step 5: Confirm all the details related to your driving licence. Select ‘Renewal of Driving Licence’ and generate the acknowledgement slip. Print out the slip and keep it handy, as it is one of the essential documents required while applying for a driving licence renewal.

• Step 3: Complete the form with the required details, including name, age proof, address proof, driving licence number, passport-size photographs, etc. 

• Step 4: People over 40 must fill out and submit Forms 1 and 1-A and have them signed by a registered medical practitioner. 

• Step 5: After submitting the form, pay the standard renewal fees. 

• Step 6: The authorities will verify the documents provided, after which you will get a renewed driving licence.

• Form 9

• Form 1-A (for those aged 40 years and above)

• A copy of the expired driving licence

• Two passport-sized photos

• Documents such as an Aadhaar card for age and address proof
