Driving is an art, and one should be careful enough while driving any vehicle on the road to prevent any casualty or damage and avoid fines. Fines can screw anyone up today as the penalties are significantly increased in the New Motor Vehicle Act, which is effective from 1st of September in 2019. It is easy to avoid fines by a candidate who can:

  • Abide by traffic rules.

  • Wear a seat belt at all times

  • Do not rush or break the signals.

  • Avoid drinking and driving.

A driving licence is an essential document, just as is an insurance policy. While DL authorises you to drive a vehicle, an insurance policy prevents you from financial liabilities at the time of claim. Always make sure that you get on the road with both these documents.

Check the Status of Your Driving Licence Application

To check the status of your driving licence, follow the steps below.

  • Practice enough to make an imaginary ‘8’ shape with your tyres while driving on the test ground before the driving instructor.

Driving License Test Procedure in Chennai

The final and foremost step to obtain a driving license in Chennai is to appear for a driving test.
