Follow the steps below on how to link your Central Bank Account with a PAN card online using Internet banking:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Central Bank of India and search for internet banking login.
Step 2: To access your internet banking account, you need to input your user ID and password.
Step 3: When logged in, choose ‘Service Requests’ from the list of options available on the interface.
Step 4: Select the option that says ‘PAN Card Updation’.
Step 5: Enter your PAN number, the date of birth mentioned on the PAN card and your registered e-mail ID with the bank.
Your PAN card will be connected to your account within 1 to 2 business days. After processing your PAN card linking request, the Bank of Baroda will inform you through email or SMS.
Link PAN Card with Central Bank Account via Mobile Application
Here are the steps you need to follow to link your PAN card with your Central Bank Account through a mobile application:
Step 1: Install the Central Bank of India’s mobile banking app on your mobile phone.
Step 2: Sign up to use the mobile app by completing the registration process.
Step 3: Use your mobile banking credentials to log into the app.
Step 4: Find the option for linking your PAN card.
Step 5: Carefully enter your PAN details in the provided fields.
Step 6: Submit your PAN details and follow the prompts to verify your information.
Once your PAN card is linked to your account, you will receive an SMS notification from the Central Bank of India.
Link PAN Card with Central Bank Account via Phone (Customer Care Hotline)
Follow the steps mentioned below to link your PAN card via Central Bank customer care number:
Step 1: Connect with the Central Bank of India's customer care number (1800 3030) from your registered mobile number.
Step 2: Follow the IVR prompts to select the option to speak with a customer care executive.
Step 3: Once connected, inform the executive that you want to update your PAN in your account.
Step 4: The executive will ask verification questions such as your full name, address, date of birth, and mother’s maiden name. Answer these questions accurately.
Step 5: Give your PAN card number to the executive.
Your PAN card will be linked to your account within 1 to 2 working days. After the PAN card is successfully linked to your account, you will receive a notification via SMS or email from the Central Bank of India.
Link PAN Card with Central Bank Account Offline (at Branch)
If you want to know how to link your PAN Card with your CB Account offline, go through the following steps:
Step 1: Visit your nearest Central Bank of India branch to get the KYC Change Form or PAN Card Updation Form. Alternatively, you can download it from the bank's website and print it out.
Step 2: Fill in the form with your bank account number, name, present address, mobile number, telephone number, and other details, if any.
Step 3: Fill in your PAN card number in the specified slot.
Step 4: Submit a photocopy of the PAN card and the form accompanied by the self-attested copy.
