Penalty for Non-Payment of Road Taxes in Goa

How to Pay Road Tax Online in Goa
There are two ways, in which you can complete Goa road tax payment. You can visit any RTO , or you can opt for a more convenient online option.

Step 2: Click on online services and log in with your password, name and captcha code.
Step 3: A new screen will appear on the screen where you need to enter the registration number.
Step 4: Then, click on the “Get road tax” available in the bottom of the page.
Step 5: The screen will display the necessary information about the vehicle and road tax. Fill in all the details and click on proceed to payment.
Step 6: You can make the payment by choosing either debit, credit or net-banking.

What is the Green Tax and how much is levied?
There is a Green Tax levied in the state of Goa for curbing air pollution. It is taken at the time of renewal of the registration of the vehicle or the renewal of the fitness certification.

Which vehicles are exempt from the payment of taxes?
In Goa, all agricultural vehicles are exempt from the payment of tax. But it does not include those vehicles which are used for transportation of agricultural material. Only those directly involved in sowing, tilling and harvesting are exempted from tax. Additionally, the vehicle owned by disabled person used for the use of their conveyance is exempted from the payment of taxes.
