In 2015, Honda introduced a subcompact crossover SUV named BR-V in 2 engine options. There was a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine option generating 119 PS at 6,000 RPM and 145 Nm peak torque at 4,600 rpm. The other variant came with a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor option churning out 100 PS at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm peak torque at 1,750 rpm.
The petrol variant was available in a 6-speed manual transmission option and a CVT. In contrast, the diesel model only featured a 6-speed manual transmission. Both the variants offered decent mileage ranging between 16 kmpl to 21.9 kmpl.
A few other notable features are paddle shifter, ABS and EBD to improve steering control during emergency braking manoeuvres and more. In suspension, you will find Honda’s signature McPherson Strut coil spring at the front and Torsion Beam coil spring at the rear.
However, due to stringent BS-VI emission guidelines in India, Honda had to discontinue the production of BR-V in 2020.
So, if you still ride any of the models, it is imperative to opt for Honda BR-V car insurance from a reliable company to prevent financial drains.
Now, while choosing an insurance provider, there are a few pointers you must factor in to secure complete financial protection. While Honda BR-V car insurance price is a crucial factor to consider, you should also check if your insurance provider offers other benefits such as add-on covers, IDV modification options etc.
This is where Digit comes in.
The insurance company assures reliable car insurance policies and a wide range of lucrative offers at competitive rates.
