Bhulekh means a record that contains all information about land an individual owns. To digitise access to this information, the State Government launched MP Bhulekh so its citizens could search for land records of MP online at their convenience.

You just have to follow simple procedures after visiting the official government site. These have been discussed briefly below.

The term Bhulekh comes from a combination of two Sanskrit words, meaning land records. The Madhya Pradesh government has launched the online portal for Madhya Pradesh Bhulekh to assist the citizens for checking online land records. It helps to access important data like landowner details, Tenancy, and Crop (RTC), the shape and size of land, Record of Rights, etc.

It has made it more convenient for the citizens to check the background of a land before making any deals. it helps them to avoid ending up with disputed lands. The digitised BhuNaksha allows them to check the Cadastral Mapping of the land, while knowing more about its background and existence.

The following are the services you can access on MP Bhulekh:

• You can collect payment through the portal of MP Bhulekh.
• It allows you to access details like the record of rights, Khasra number, maps, etc.
• You can get information about your land like who is its owner, Khatauni code, tenancies, plot status, sale deeds, etc.
• It offers a straightforward way to get BhuNaksha.
• The site even provides details of the irrigation process used in the land, its shape, area, boundaries, etc.
• You can even check old information relating to your land.

Any citizen of India, preferably a resident of Madhya Pradesh, can apply for Bhulekh. You must have your own land in MP that you wish to register under this online portal. It gives you the authority of being an official landowner of India.

It is very simple to check old and new land records in MP. Just follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: First, visit the official site of MP Bhulekh, launched by the State Government.

Step 2: After the site loads, locate the option that mentions 'Search' on its homepage.

Step 3: It will redirect you to a place where you will find a list of services. Click on ‘Bhu-Abhilekh (Khasra/Khatoni/Map)’.

Step 4: A form will appear on your screen where it will require you to fill in your district, Khasra number, and village details.

Step 5: Lastly, enter the Captcha and click on the 'View' option. It will open a new tab where you can check land records online in MP.

The required documents can vary based on the type of mutation. In general, you must be able to produce the following documents to transfer or sell your land.

• Copy of Khasra
• Sales deed
• Copy of B1
• Copy of mortgage
• Copy of will and decree
• Bhu-Adhikar evam Rin Pustika
• Death certificate (if required)

The following will help you register and login under the Bhulekh portal as a public user. 

Step 1:  Go to the official website of MP Bhulekh. Click on “Register as a Public user” on the right side of the screen.. 

Step 2: It will open an online form. Fill it with your details including your name, address, registered mobile number, and registered email id. 

Step 3: After filling the form, click on “Register”. You will receive login credentials on the registered mobile and email ID. 

Step 4: Go back to the home page. Click on the “Login” option from the top right corner. 

Step 5: Enter the username and password that you received. Type in the captcha code and click on “Submit” to login as a public user.

Bhulekh in Madhya Pradesh also allows you to get a cadastral view of your land map by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Go to the official site of MP Bhulekh.

Step 2: You will find a 'Search' button on its homepage. Click on it to proceed.

Step 3: The site will redirect you to a new page. Locate and click on 'Bhu-Naksha.'

Step 4: A new window will show on your screen where you must feed in the tehsil, district, and village columns.

Step 5: Also, you must provide your land number or plot number to continue.

Step 6: Now click on 'Submit' to view the map online.

Follow the procedure mentioned below to find your Khasra in the MP Bhulekh portal online:

Step 1: After you visit the MP Bhulekh, click on the 'Current/Previous Year Khasra' option on its homepage.

Step 2: You will find columns requiring ULPIN, Property ID, village, district, and Tehsil details which you have to fill to proceed.

Step 3: Next, click on the 'Landowner' tab and feed in your name.

Step 4: Lastly, tap the 'Submit' button to get your desired information.

You can easily check property-related documents online on MP Bhulekh through the following procedure:

Step 1: Go to the official site of MP Bhulekh.

Step 2: Look for the “Archives Document” tab and click on it. Click on “Yes” for the option “Do you want to search for Record Room Documents?”

Step 3: Fill out information regarding your village, tehsil, Zilla and others in their respective columns. Next, click on the 'Submit' button. It will display the details of the document.

MP Bhulekh lets you file complaints online by signing into its official site. The process is as follows:

Step 1: Find the 'Grievances' option on the menu bar present on its homepage.

Step 2: It will redirect you to an information page where you must fill in details of issue type, village, Khasra number, etc.

Step 3: Now, type in your complaint statement and your address.

Step 4: Upload the documents required by the site, and provide your registered mobile number, to successfully file your complaint.

You can also track your request or status online on MP Bhulekh. Here's a step-by-step procedure for you:

Step 1: Visit the official site of MP Bhulekh.

Step 2: Click on the “Grievances” tab on the Home Page. It will redirect to a new page.

Step 3: From the left panel, click on “Complaint/Suggestion Track”.  Enter either your mobile number or complaint number.

Step 4: Click on “Search”. It will display the status of your request.

Madhya Pradesh Government has made it very easy for you to access your land records through the online portal of Bhulekh in Madhya Pradesh.
