What Happens If You Fail to Carry Out Tenant Verification in Noida?
As a landlord, if you fail to carry out the tenant verification, you may be punished with simple imprisonment for a time. This period may extend to one month or with a fine which may amount to Rs 200, or with both. This is applicable if such disobedience causes hindrance or risk of obstruction, annoyance, irritation or injury to any person.
Furthermore, this disobedience can result in imprisonment of either you or your tenant for a time which may extend to six months. It can also come with a fine which may extend to Rs 1,000, or you may receive both.
