Can NOC be done online?

Yes, getting an NOC Online at the ‘Parivahan’ portal under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is possible. However, applying for an online NOC is still unavailable in all states. Before proceeding to the next step, you must verify your state’s availability for online NOC.

What happens if NOC is not given?

If, for any reason, your initial RTO is unable to issue NOC within a maximum of 30 days after your application, you are free to apply for re-registration at the RTO of your preference. In this situation, you must attach a copy of the Form 28 application and the acknowledgement receipt and fill in a declaration at the new RTO.

Who will provide the NOC certificate?

You can check the status of a bike's No Objection Certificate (NOC) online by following these steps:

  • Visit the government’s Vahan Citizen Services website
  • Choose the state and local RTO
  • Log in and Go for the services that are offered
  • For purposes that require no objection, click the Application for No Objection Certificate.
  • Go to the tab Vehicle Registration Related Services
  • Click the Status tab

Do we need to submit an original RC for NOC?

Yes, an original copy of the vehicle's fresh RC needs to be attached to the application for NOC from the Registering Authority (RTO). As per the RTO norms, you can apply for an NOC in person at the jurisdictional RTO.

How to get CC from RTO?

If a vehicle holder wants to obtain a clearance certificate (CC) from RTO, he must fill out a written application with the registration authority where the vehicle is registered. You will be required to produce the following documents:
