However, in India, it is by law that every two-wheeler owner must obtain insurance cover mandatorily. Why? Let us discuss.
Why Choose Digit for your Honda CB Trigger Insurance policy?
Go through the following reasons to understand the significance of a two-wheeler insurance policy in India.
Necessary Legal Compliance - According to the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, every motorcycle owner in India must secure two-wheeler insurance to remain road legal. Any infringement will cost hefty penalties of ₹2,000 for a first-time offence and ₹4,000 for repetition. Also, you may get into custody for up to three months.
Third-Party Protection - This bike insurance policy covers the third-party losses caused by your two-wheeler on your behalf. That means you do not have to compensate the affected party separately.
Own Damage Cover - A bike accident may damage your motorcycle too. In this regard, a comprehensive policy will provide financial aid. In addition, if your bike gets affected due to natural or man-made disasters, fire, theft or any other circumstances, this scheme will take care of the losses.
Personal Accident Cover - Accidents can be fatal enough to cause death or permanent disability of the rider. In this respect, the IRDAI has mandated personal accident cover for every motorcycle owner. Under this scheme, the policyholder's family members will receive a payout as compensation if the owner-rider dies or undergoes permanent/partial disability.
No Claim Bonus Discounts - Insurance providers offer a bonus if you do not file any claim for a year. This bonus will serve as a discount on your premium. For instance, Digit extends a 20-50% discount on the premiums depending on the number of claim-free years.
All the reasons sum up why two-wheeler insurance for Honda CB Trigger is crucial for you to obtain.
Let us now remember a few features of CB Trigger.
Learn More About Honda CB Trigger
Honda CB Trigger was available in three variants and three colour options - Black, Pearl Siena Red and Meteor Green Metallic. The variants competed with the likes of Yamaha FZ range and TVS Apache RTR.
CB Trigger was installed with a 150 cc, air-cooled single-cylinder motor churning out 13.81 bHP of power at 8500 RPM and 12.5 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. Also, the engine was mated with a 5-speed transmission gearbox.
The mono-shock suspension at the rear offered comfortable rider control.
CB Trigger was the first Honda bike to exhibit an all-digital instrument console in India. Also, it has optional CBS, disc brake at both ends, tubeless tyres and viscous air filter with replacement interval.
Nevertheless, such features are not enough to assure 100% protection from accidents and other unavoidable mishaps. Thus, CB Trigger is as exposed to accidental damages as any other two-wheeler. And this justifies the significance of Honda CB Trigger insurance.
