For attaining a visa from the US Embassy, you have to carry the following documents:
Online non-immigrant DS-160 application form
A valid passport
A single-colour photograph (2x2 inches) with a white background. Ensure that you have a neutral expression with open eyes. You must not wear any uniform or any electronic device or any eye gear.
Receipt as a confirmation of payment done for the US visa form
Ensure that any of the documents not written in English must be submitted after translation. However, the above documents for visa application will alter as per your preferred visa type.
