Laos Embassy in India

Laos, otherwise known as the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and India, share a longstanding friendly relationship since 1956. India has helped Laos to develop its infrastructure in fields such as science and technology, trade and culture.

Since the establishment of the relationship between India and Laos, there have been mutual visits by representatives in both countries. The Laos Embassy, Consulate & High Commission in India helps to organise the visits of Laos nationals to India and also provide consular services to them.

There is only one diplomatic mission of Laos in India. The Embassy of the Lao PDR in New Delhi represents the Government of Laos in India. It provides all types of visa services to Indian Citizens and resolves all grievances of Laos Citizens visiting India.
