Scholarships offered under Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme are attracting Malaysian students to India who are seeking higher education.Â
Here, the role of the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi comes into play. The Commission is responsible for managing affairs associated with business, commercial, cultural and educational areas, thus, promoting the Indo-Malaysian relationship.
The High Commission of Malaysia works on improving the Indo-Malaysian bilateral relationship by executing the following functions:
Cooperation at a political and economic level between India and Malaysia.
Enhancing Indo-Malaysian investment connections.
Regulation of business trade exchanges between the authorities of India and Malaysia.
Promoting the sharing of resources between the countries to attain mutual benefits.
Rendering passport services to the respective foreign nationals in India.
Providing judicial and legal support to foreign nationals who are not Malaysians but have membership in the Commonwealth.
Offering evacuation support to Malaysian nationals in cases of health or natural emergencies in India.
Handling business and commercial affairs, thereby, fostering good Indo-Malaysian relations.

An updated Malaysian Visa Application form
A passport
Passport-size pictures that are not more than six months old
Travel and flight schedule
Proof of where you plan to stay
NOC (No Objection Letter) if applicable, from your employer
Confirmation of having a sufficient monetary amount in your bank
Civil certificates (if mentioned)
