How to Get an Encumbrance Certificate in Telangana Online?
Underlying are steps to apply for EC online –
Step 1 – Log on to Meeseva (the official portal of Government in Telangana).
Step 2 – Choose “Government forms” and click on “Meeseva services”.
Step 3 – Find the “Encumbrance certificate” under the category “registration” and click on the link to download EC form.
Step 4 – Fill the form with the required details and then submit it to the nearest Meeseva center.
Step 5 – Submit the application form with requisite fees and the documents as quoted on the form.
How to Get an Encumbrance Certificate in Telangana Offline?
Follow the below procedure in case you wish to take offline route –
Step 1 – Visit the nearest sub-registrar office and collect Form 22.
Step 2 – Fill this form with details as per requirement.
Step 3 – Submit it with all the documents and requisite fee as demanded by authorities.
Upon further verification of this application, an acknowledgement slip is provided by the registrar office, and status of the same is updated through a message on one’s registered mobile number.

How to Track the Status of Encumbrance Certificate in Telangana?
- Visit the official website of Meeseva.
- Click on “Encumbrance Certificate” option available on the right side of the website.
- Select “Submit” option and a new screen will appear on the screen.
- Choose “Encumbrance search” and fill in with details and click on ‘Submit’ option.
- Click on the checkbox of the list of Encumbrance certificates as per the requirement and click on “Submit.
- Accordingly, you can view your EC status and even download it in PDF format.
