Both participants, an employee and an employer, have the access to I-grievance management scheme. One can register a grievance in EPFO by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official EPF portal.
Step 2: On the homepage, one can see a tab that has a "register grievance" sign on it.
Step 3: Click on it and select the section called “status”.
Step 4: If one does not have the PF number, click on “others”.
Step 5: One should then enter their Security Code and Universal Account Number (UAN).
Step 6: There will be a “Get Details” option, click on it.
Step 7: One can see their name, mobile number, email ID and UAN on the screen.
Step 8: Opt for the “Get OTP” option to verify and authenticate the user ID.
Step 9: Choose the "Personal details" section and select the relevant PF number.

How to Track the Progress of EPF Grievance Registration?

Step 2: Select “View Status”.
Step 3: Enter your registration number.
Step 4: Enter your phone number/email ID.

What to Do If There Is a Delay in Resolving Grievances?
If someone does not answer their issue promptly, they can send a reminder to the authorities. Here is how to do that:
Step 1: Visit the official page of EPF I-grievance Reporting Sector.
Step 2: From a drop-down menu, one has to select "Send Reminder".
Step 3: Type the registration number that the system has generated during the filing of a complaint.
Step 4: If one has filed the complaint on an older version of the website, they have to put their mobile number or email ID too.
Step 5: Fill in the reminder and provide an authentication code.
Step 6: Click on “Submit” to send a reminder to the concerned authority.
