2. Vijayawada Airport, Vijayawada

This is another international airport in Andhra Pradesh, located in Gannavaram, Vijayawada. It is located near National Highway 16, which connects Chennai and Kolkata. It was inaugurated during World War II as an army base, but turned into a regular airport in 2003.

3. Tirupati Airport, Tirupati

It was commissioned in 1971, and the new terminal and runway were developed later in 1993. It is only 14 km away from the city centre. Kurnool Airport, also known as the Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy Airport, is about 18 km from Kurnool City Centre and is located on National Highway 40.
