Tourism Ministry Plans to Promote Destination Weddings
With around 68 crore people expected to marry soon, the wedding industry has huge potential. To boost wedding tourism, the Centre has asked all States and Union Territories to simplify marriage registration for couples from other States. The Indian wedding tourism industry is valued at ₹5 lakh crore. The Tourism Ministry's campaign promotes India as a premier wedding destination. The Parliamentary Committee noted that destination weddings can benefit the local economy and urged further promotion.

Ayodhya & Mathura - India's Spiritual Hotspots Promoted by UP Govt.
