- Muharram (17th July 2024): Muharram is considered the first month of the Islamic calendar and New Year. It is also known to be the second holiest month, the first being Ramadan.
- Independence Day (15th August 2024): On this day, India gained its independence from the British government after years of slavery and struggle. This day is observed as a holiday, remembering all the freedom fighters and their contributions.
- Gandhi Jayanti (2nd October 2024): Mahatma Gandhi led various non-violent movements against the British government. Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated to mark his birth anniversary.
- Vijaya Dashami (13th October 2024): Vijaya Dashami is the last day of the nine-day-long Durga Puja. On this day, the idol of Maa Durga is immersed in water after performing the final rituals.
- Diwali (1st November 2024): Diwali is the festival of lights. On this day, people light candles all over the house to mark Lord Rama's victory over Ravana and his return to Ayodhya.
