In July last year, Chandauli police along with the transport department launched a campaign to remove encroachment on every road in the city. Auto drivers, Toto drivers and vendors were instructed not to encroach on the road and install vehicles.

The order is continuing to work even after the end of the campaign. If any vendor did not comply with the order strict actions were taken against them.
