Mayur Vihar is a residential area in East Delhi which is relatively closer to Noida-Delhi border situated across the Yamuna river. Mayur Vihar came into existence in 1979-80 back when the trans-Yamuna area was sparsely populated. Mayur Vihar is divided into three distinct phases. RTO Mayur Vihar comes under the jurisdiction of Transport Department of Govt. of NCT.
