As per different sources of news, last year four people who were seated on the top of two pick-up vehicles died as they fell from a bridge at a height of 40 feet in the Jalgaon district. Their vehicles collided with a truck. Although minor injuries were sustained by the other 11 people seated inside, they were taken to a private hospital nearby.

The Nashirabad police registered the offence against the truck driver.

Recently the government of Jalgaon spoke of inaugurating road safety campaigns in this region and gave ST Corporation employees necessary tips on safe driving.

As per the news, a month ago, the Jalgaon city traffic branch Paladhi Highway Police Help Center started Road Safety Week 2023 to create awareness in schools. The officials went to the schools and informed them about traffic rules and appealed to them to obey these rules.
