Chamarajanagar is located in the southernmost part of Karnataka. According to a report from July last year, the Chamarajanagar district authority has initiated a plan to construct a truck terminal to reduce traffic congestion on the highways. The terminal is going to have facilities such as restaurants, a rest house for truck drivers, ATM counters, a hospital, toilets, a bank, gatehouses and dormitories.
