Recently, Devanahalli hosted the Aero India event inaugurated by the Prime Minister. Due to the inaugural event, local police issued a traffic advisory for locals. On an another event of India Energy Week, different regions of the city witnessed severe traffic restrictions

Devanahalli traffic police collaborated with a local college to organise a road safety awareness campaign. The agenda of the campaign was to decrease the overall number of fatalities caused by traffic accidents. Students from the college collaborated with Karnataka Civil Defence Corps to spread the message to the citizens. 

Devanahalli organised National Road Safety Week in January to create awareness about traffic rules and regulations. An officer from the Devanahalli Traffic Police Station was awarded for carrying out the best campaign.
