The primary objective of Samagra Shiksha Scheme is to emphasise the enhancement of teaching and technology in education. The Government launched this scheme in 2018 and extended it till 1st April 2021 for its excellent outcomes. Moreover, the Government has further extended this scheme till 31st March 2026 with a financial expenditure of ₹ 2,94,283.04 crore.
